Im visiting my friend, Celine, in Paris Aug 6-17. Im learning some French and Cambodian. Since a lot of words are borrowed or similar between French and Spanish and English it's amazing how much I can understand/guess from their conversation, menus, etc. Celine tells me my Cambodian accent is better than my French...French is definitely not my language. Celine and I communicate in Spanish (I met her while studying in Mexico) so I am still getting a lot of practice with that. Her friends try to speak some English to me its funny but really nice of them because I can't say much more than 'hello' and 'goodbye' correctly!

Here are some pictures of the famous..Le Moulin Rouge, Tour Eiffel, & Basilique du Sacré-Cœur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus). More beautiful in person than I imagined, really!! There is one pic each of Notre Dame and Arc de triomphe they're from the car though-I will visit them more closely this week. As well as Louvre.
